This was a super fun song that I loved from the first time I heard it back in 2005. «Redneck Yacht Club» was written by Thom Shepherd and Steve Williams, and recorded by Craig Morgan , an American country music singer. The song reached number 2 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, and certified Gold by the RIAA for sales of 500,000 and was also certified GOLD for digital downloads. Quite a hit. The video is fun too,
Hope you like this oldie-goldie for a Saturday! Let me know!

This is a hoot, Francisco. There used to be a spot along the Potomac River in Prince William County (about an hour south of DC). The site is now closed, but Tim II is further south in KIng George. Song is fairly accurate for a certain type of partying crowd. There are lots of ‘necks in Virginia–not all of them Good ole boy and girls. Necks are also the names of the crooked little peninsulas that adorn the small rivers and creeks along many of the Chesapeake Bay inlets.
