I moved to Miami Beach in 1985 and lived right on Ocean Drive in the heart of South Beach, and there was nothing there but old people and shootouts at night… Then the city began to transform. It began right there on Ocean Drive, just a few blocks north. Well, the rest is history. Here is a brief tour of the Miami Beach of the 1990’s that I really enjoyed and loved.
