Yo no busco reproducir la «realidad» según y como la vemos, busco mejor lo que está dentro del objeto, lo invisible, pero perceptible al artista. Además me interesa la reacción emocional, no solo la mía, como el creador de la obra, si no la tuya como observador. Ahí esta la clave. Las cosas tienen mucho más que forma, volumen y peso, tienen algo que las hace vibrar y encontrárselo es lo que desea el artista expresionista… El surrealismo es aquello que va más allá de la realidad y tampoco se basa en la supuesta lógica del realismo. El rechazo a la lógica, a la realidad, a la perspectiva lineal, al clasicismo y al impresionismo, te lleva de cabeza al surrealismo. Conmigo vas a viajar por otros mundos aunque nunca abandones este plano de existencia. Mi trabajo, surrealista y expresionista representa las cosas no como son, pero como yo pienso que deben ser…

I do not seek to reproduce «reality» as we see it, but rather what lies within the object, that which is invisible to the observer but perceptible to the artist. I am also interested in the emotional reaction, not only mine, as the creator of the work, but yours, as the observer. There lies the key. Things have much more than shape, volume, and weight; they have something that makes them vibrate, and finding it is what the expressionist artist desires… Surrealism is that which goes beyond reality and is not based on the supposed logic of realism. The rejection of logic, reality, linear perspective, classicism, and impressionism leads you straight to surrealism.
