El Jazz es la música clásica norteamericana y a mí me fascina. Conociendo como se logra la mágica del jazz, he utilizado la misma fórmula para estas series de dibujos y de pinturas. La Fase I, en blanco y negro y dibujados con diferentes lápices y tinta, y las otras fases, II, III, y IV, (no todas representadas aquí), pintadas con acuarelas. Las reglas del jazz son simples y son solo tres: La improvisación; el músico tocando y componiendo simultáneamente y el ritmo, o sea, el swing. Eso tres elementos, si te fijas bien, los encontrarás en estos dibujos y pinturas. Los primeros comenzados en 2008 y los más recientes son del 2022.

Rhythm – Improvisation – Spirit

Jazz is America’s classical music and I love it! Knowing the magic that jazz is, I have used the same formula used to create jazz music to create this series of drawings and paintings. Phase I, in black and white and drawn with different types of graphite and ink, and the other phases, II, III, and IV, (not all represented here) in watercolour. The rules of jazz are simple and only three: Improvisation; the musician as composer and rhythm, or swing. These three elements, if you look carefully, you will find them in these paintings and drawings. The first of which were commenced in 2008 and the latest ones in 2022.
