Gracias…

This extraordinary woman and artist, was born in Afghanistan in 1988. She has popularised «street art» not only in Kabul, but in India, Iran, Germany, United States of America, Switzerland, Vietnam, Norway, Denmark, Turkey, Italy, Canada, where her work has been exhibited.
According to her official website, she is the first female graffiti artist from Afghanistan. Her thoughts are rounded off in this quote, also from her website: «Art changes people’s minds and people change the world.»
I definitely think she is a source of inspiration for women all around the world and for men as well. A very worthy part of this series.
In 2014 Hassani was named one of FP’s top 100 Global Thinkers.
Here are some of her fabulous artworks. I hope you enjoy! And if you did enjoy, please do not forget to give the video a «like». Thank you!

Cheers…
Great piece. The women of Afghanistan have been abandoned totally after the Taliban gained control of the nation again. More information on success stories should be written and they should not be forgotten. Today to be a woman in Afghanistan is to live in pain and sorrow every minute.

I’ve come across her work before Francesc, as you may have guessed. She’s very talented and puts that talent to good use as far as I’m concerned.

Her images are stunning and bold. A real talent. But it is her message to other women that makes these works so important and impactful. I hope she meets with continued success and notoriety.

She certainly was Janet, and so far, no one that has seen this post has ever heard of her! This has to change. Art History must be revised. Thank you Janet and all the best. Many blessings.
