Chick Corea: Yamaha CF III Grand Piano,
Percussion and Palmas: Jorge Pardo
C Flute, Soprano Sax, Alto Flute and Palmas: Carles Benavent
Bass and Palmas: Rubern Dantas
Percussion, Calimba and Palmas: Tom Brechtlein
Drums and Palmas and Egyptian Tabla: Hossam Ramzy
Auxi Fernandez and Tomasito Moreno Romero: Flamenco Dancers and Palmas
Ha sido una gran pérdida la de Chick Corea pero al menos tenemos grabaciones y vídeos
Espero que os guste…

We are going to disgree violently here. In over 26 years of enjoying Rodrigo’s Aranjuez, ma pensée, this is the first time ever I turned away from a performance.

No disagreement my friend. We all have the right to our opinions and our taste. Jazz is not everyone’s cup of tea, and even jazz lovers like some tunes and dislike others. Not a problem, we all choose what we like and reject what we do not. Thank you Espie and all the best.

Once again, you misunderstand. I am a great jazz fan but the jazz interpretation of this particular piece lacks any merit. It is a classic best interpreted in the classic manner. Because we espouse socialist or democratic ideals does not mean the principle therein applies in every case.

I quite agree Espie, and I mentioned that, that even though you may be a jazz lover, there are pieces that you may not like, I feel the same way. There is some jazz, like «smooth jazz» that I will not listen to. All the best my friend and top of the morning to you!

This is beautiful. I have not seen a male dancer dance like this one. I especially enjoyed the flute. Thank you for sharing. Sending you both love. 🦋❤️🦋

Enjoyed it even on a Monday afternoon. I used to play the flute, but I never could play it like that. LOL! Few can. What expressive dancing! Thanks for sharing this, Francis.
