I have noticed that watercolor paints can vary widely in price. Is there a brand you prefer? And are the most expensive ones worth the money? Always love you work, my friend!

Yes, there is a wide variety of prices, not only for watercolour but acrylics and oils as well, and brushes. I always buy something in the middle of the price range, and to tell you the truth the cheapest brushes I ever bought in Miami, back in 2003, I still have and they still are as good as they once were. So, no, I do not go for the expensive brands. Watercolours I use Faber-Castell mostly and for acrylics I have a wide variety of brands, but usually not the high end ones, I find them to be unnecessarily expensive and my paintings from 25 years ago are still as bright and as new as they were on the day the paint dried.
