Si el mar, con todo su poder, se detiene y se rinde ante un leve filo de arena,

me puedo yo rendir ante ti,

pero no es así, eres tú el que te frenas pues tú eres el mar y yo un grano de arena.

If the sea, immense and powerful can stop and surrender before a thin strip of sand,

I too can surrender before your power,

but it isn’t me, I’ve got no power, you are the sea, and me, a simple grain of sand.
