#poetry, “A Closed Window” (Euro-Ku)

When you look inside you find another world,.

It’s not a window it’s a gate that keeps inside the things we hate,

but if one day it should be opened, the rest of the world will spill outside.

Interesting fresh take on a closed door. Is it what we hate about the world but don’t choose to share or what we hate about ourselves but don’t choose to acknowledge?

    1. You look through an open window and you see another world in there that belongs to others. But if those others close the window, the world you saw becomes a memory, then an illusion, then a myth, then forgotten…

At Christmas time you have a better chance of seeing other world because people are more likely to leave the curtains undrawn so you can see the tree and other decorations.
