«YaYa» 1999 New Orleans

En los tiempos cuando nosotros, Conga Rey, Akim, Altagracia y un servidor, formábamos el grupo SIMON que existio en Miami, Nueva York y Nueva Orleans alla por el 1999. Escribi esta cancion despues de muchos viajes a esa ciudad (Nueva Orleans) que es una de mis favoritas de EEUU.

From the days that we, Conga Rey, Akim, Altagracia and yours truly, formed the group SIMON and played in New Orleans. I wrote this song after many trips there, (New Orleans), after all it is one of my favourite cities of the United States.

    Nice town, my Dad did business there in the 70’s ,and I visited several times in the early 80’s. I help raise funds for Katrina hurricane victims in Paris with a big group including the heavy blues band playing joe cocker songs awesome!

        Thanks, I worked in management in the Inter now Westin and gave them the salon for free! 550 persons came in it was awesome!

        I can imagine! Those guys from the 70’s were definitely the best, and the ones still around prove that nothing has surpassed that music.

    I really got the feel of New Orleans in this. A picture of you, early in the video where there is a strong shadow of your guitar handle across you face, looks like one of your graphic pictures.

      Yes, I spent many days in New Orleans, especially around the time of the Jazz Fest, we used to go every year from 1998 through 2017 and developed some great friends there. I always liked to get absorbed in the music, especially the street musicians, who were very, very good…
