Apologies for the mix up in the comment above Francesc. It should read. «Our sentiments are very similar where van Gogh are concerned». I think I’m going round the bend as well 🙂

Always enjoyed his work for its unique brashness. Not to say I love it or he’s a favorite. Have to say it again, Francisco: you are a hard man.

    1. Just giving my opinion my friend. I do like the way he documented his life and illness through his self-portraits though. He had it made. His family was full of art dealers and gallery owners, then after his supposed suicide…there are other theories…his brother and other family members create a museum and an art foundation in his name. What more can a «starving» artist want? And critics missed out. Some of his best work…again in my opinion…are not his most famous ones. He painted better and more interesting sunflowers than the one they sold so high…

I too love the self portraits. I think they are all good but the last two may be my favorites. Thanks also for the great music. I loved it. ❤️

I was under the impression the Vincent Van Gogh died poor and in disregard, I didnt know he had family clout helping him sell his paintings

    1. Well, there are a lot of legends about many of the artists of the late XIX C. and XX C.
