Asi es Manuel, hay muchos pintores que deben estar en los museos y muchos que lo están que debemos remover. Gracias amigo mío, un saludo y feliz finde.
Thanks for another Saturday morning’s education Francesc. Unfortunately, and you’re going to hate me for this, you’ve taught me enough to know that I’m not too keen on expressionist art. Mind you, I find expressionist architecture really interesting. Maybe I haven’t seem enough art yet to form a more positive opinion.
I am glad to hear that Malc, as art has two sides, one is what the artist is thinking and wanting to communicate, the other is what the observer is thinking upon looking at it, whether he says I like it or I don’t. It’s a matter of taste. I love expressionism but not all of it. But I like your assessment. Cheers my friend and a happy weekend to you!
You have taught me to find the beauty in expressionist art, but I must admit I am not drawn to the examples you offered. I cannot say he is not a skilled artist, but there was nothing there that just made me want to stop and stare. Beyond what I see as rudimentary painting techniques, I could not have the depth of what was being conveyed by the artist. I like Kirchner and Macke much better.
Yes Brad, you’ve brought up valid points and a good assessment of Nolde’s art from your perspective, after all, it’s all about individual likes and dislikes. The artist has something in his head and paints, the observer has something else. Cheers my friend!
Esta es una oportunidad para conocer pintores que no son tan publicitados en el ambito del arte mundial. Muy interesante el vídeo. Saludos Francisco.

Siempre habrá injusticias al juzgar lo bueno o lo malo del arte.
