Although these are all exceptional artists in their own right, Vermeer is probably my favorite. I get lost in his paintings.

Yes, Vermeer is definitely my number one! And View of Delft is my favourite. Thank you my friend! Greetings from Miami Beach 🏖

Having followed your posts for quite a while now, this collection doesn’t surprise me Francesc. I’m looking forward to the next list now 😊

Thank you Malc. I suspected my choices would not be a surprise as I know that my next one…the artists I most dislike…won’t surprise you. All the best my friend. Greetings from Miami Beach! (About to go for a swim in the Atlantic 🌊)

That side of the Atlantic is much warmer than ours Francesc and no doubt you’ll need a cold beer afterwards 🙂

My favorite is probably Vermeer. Quite a breadth of artists, Francisco. I like the sculptor whose sculptures are being crashed by waves. Very original.

He was a great sculptor and there are several in a few of our coastal cities. Yes, Vermeer is my fave as well. Cheers Pat and happy weekend!

Not entirely what I would have thought. Not surprising, but different from expectation.

Perhaps a trifle difference I would say, but rather accurate indeed. However, wait until the next one, with my least favourite ones…

How entertaining and also I too agree with many of your choices. I love «The Lace Maker,» Goya’s oil of Charles IV of Spain and Family is beautiful, all that incredible detail, the same with the La Maja what a stunning portrait, even the lace on the pillows has details. Pablo Picasso ( my daughter says your painting reminds her of his brilliant work), I love La Vie (during his blue period) I also really like the weeping woman. His painting Guernica is something else. I can’t imagine standing in front of that giant painting. I found myself wanting to read about it after seeing it. Fascinating how artist are so effected by war. Lots of symbolism in this piece which is like much of your work. I really like the reflection with two children, that painting really draws me in like Guernica does. Thank you for this great post. Very interesting given your amazing talent to see whom you admire. I am curious about what you think of El Bosco? When we were in Spain and visited the Prada some of the paintings mesmerized me and I found myself standing there for hours just amazed at the detail and shock affect some of the paintings had on me. Thanks again for this very entertaining and educational post.

Thank you so much Joni. I did not include El Greco, but he is most certainly one of the artists that I most admire and to me he was a modern artist back in his day. I left him out because I will be making a video just about him. All the best ♥️😊🙏🏻
