Photography has always fascinated me and although I am not a trained photographer, I always fancied myself as being able to capture something special with the lens of my camera…now an I-phone…and letting it be a manifestation of my art. Here is a photograph I took a long time ago while travelling through the Aegean Coast of Turkey. I think it captures the essence of time passing and as it does it leaves some things behind that sort of look down upon our modernity. This is a mountain top where below one can see a city. I do not remember which city it was but it is in the south western portion of Turkey. The tower is an ancient ruin, perhaps Roman? Perhaps Greek? Persian?
