As if we had travelled on the backs of horses as quiet as the sunset and as vibrant as the moon,
we have arrived…
The silk silhouette has danced an arabesque upon the shadows of the smokey sunrise,
and arms embrace the warmth of your body,
and the rain knocks on our window seeking kisses,
and the lips that press upon my lips become the honey of the morn.
And your eyes carve out I love you in the misty light of dawn,
and your face appears to float above the sea,
and eternity becomes what we can be.

Very sensual poem, Francisco. Your lady in the artwork looks sad. I love the motifs you have included in her portrait.

The phrasing and word choices here are spectacular, Francisco! Vibrant and sensual with a silky-smooth flow from beginning to end. It is hard not to be drawn into the vision you create with your poem. Well done, my friend!

This is a beautiful piece Francis. I am loving the sensuality and the beautiful images you have created. These two lines are especially gorgeous:
«and the rain knocks on our window seeking kisses,
and the lips that press upon my lips become the honey of the morn.»
Blessings to you two enjoy your weekend.
