Of course the original was released by Traffic in 1968, both in the UK and in the US and it failed miserably in both countries. Then Joe Cocker…the Man!…recorded in 1969, changed the name to «Feeling Alright», added some conga drums and, as Lou Reed would put it, three coloured girls from Motown and transformed the song into a rock classic!

Nothing against the original or the other covers, but the 5th Dimension version is hard to beat. The rhythm section makes that version really swing! Great choice to share, my friend!
