I can’t say I like all abstract art, but the best of it does have great merit. I enjoy finding my own interpretation of the artist’s intentions.

It’s the purity in the creation that I enjoy, plus the added thrill of having a reference point, as an artist, and that not being the same as that of the spectators. Thank you my good friend.

Thank you very much Espie, I am so glad you liked it! Some of the great ones from the early XX C. rebelled against and hated abstract art but the truth is that while most of the other vanguards of the XX C. are dead and gone, abstract art continues to flourish (perhaps too much so…)

You’re probably going to tell me that I’m wrong now, but I can’t help see similarities between Kandinsky’s ‘Composition 8’ and your own work Francesc.

No, I won’t say that. I know and respect your ability to appreciate the subleties of abstract art, but I hardly do any abstract art and when I do, I never consider them finished pieces but rather part of a process of searching, practising, learning. But I am certainly flattered by being compared to Kandinsky! Thank you my friend, and all the best.
