Absolutely loving this series Francesc. Great art and history all rolled into one. I always remember the dome of the cathedral for one thing. I had a strange urge to want to jump over the balcony onto the dome. Mad isn’t it?

Fascinating! One of my takeaways is to remember that great things can follow a failure. I don’t think coming in second is failing, but he took it as a challenge. One has to wonder if he would have gone on to create as much and as extraordinarily as he did if he’d won that early contest instead of coming in second.
