Close enough to touch yet frightful, the shapes and forms of nature blend with time and time has allowed man his domination,

his creations stand, though sometimes withered, aged and rotten, yet still there,

the thoughts, not they, they are absorbed, defeated, and thrown into the boiling pot where no one cares…

As a poet/artist, I have always engaged, wholeheartedly, in the search and I must say that what I find both amuses me and amazes me as well. In searching through Haikus…Japanese poetry…that I greatly admire, I realised that as a Western man I could not formulate a Haiku and give it the spirit that it recognises and desires. It is impossible. One must be true to one’s experiences, history and geography and because of that, and my love for expression…in its simplest forms…I developed the Euro-Ku (and the Ameri-Ku) on 02/02/2022 here in Europe, as I hail from Spain.

The idea remains the same, to express a thought, but not with the same intention of the Japanese original Haiku. The Euro-Ku must reflect our way of thinking and most importantly, our way of expressing thoughts, emotions, feelings et al. The three verses have no syllabic count restrictions, but they must flow into each other easily and smoothly. Rhyming is optional. The main difference is that the poem must be accompanied by an original, unedited illustration created by the writer. Spirituality in art can only be achieved by being faithful to the current time in which the writer lives. No one can write with the mind, the experience or the history of someone else, but we all can and should respect what is not ours…

QUE ME IMPORTA

Qué me importa lo que piensen, lo que digan,
lo que critiquen
ni la opinión de aquellos que se jactan
de ser serios,
de ser sanos,
de ser santos,
de ser cuerdos,
de ser orientados hacia la ciencia,
la literatura,
la historia,
la política,
la religión,
la izquierda,
la derecha,
el coño de la madre,
el cotilleo
y la estupidez,
sin darse cuenta que el Che Guevara y Bin Laden solo
dejaron mierda tras de ellos…
Sin darse cuenta que Carlos Marx y Groucho Marx
no eran parientes,
sin comprender que a Lenin le sobraba un huevo
y que a Stalin le gustaba el dedo
que le rodeaba el ano…
Sin comprender que la ciencia miente,
que el gobierno muerde
y arranca lo que tus brazos han construido,
con eufemismos administrativos
y ministerios inútiles,
que la verdad es un trozo de mezcalina
que la modelan al son de una pieza de Handel
y al compas de bulerías por soleá,
bailando un reggaetón en un arrabal de La Habana
que se muere de hambre…
Al carajo con tanta tontería y tanto desmadre…

Os puedo decir que no es IA, sino es crear usando medios digitales pero trabajándolo del modo tradicional, del modo donde al final el resultado es arte, creado por el ser humano. En el vídeo os doy varios ejemplos. Las imágenes luego se pueden imprimir sobre papel, lienzo o sobre madera o metal, o donde queráis.

I can tell you that it is not AI, but rather creating using digital means but working it in the traditional way, where in the end the result is art created by humans. In the video, I give you several examples. The images can then be printed on paper, canvas, wood, metal, or wherever you want.

Por favor! Que alguien le diga…

Que alguien le diga a esta cantante que ya eso de destaparse los pechos se viene haciendo di desde el comienzo del rock en los años 60, que no es nada nuevo. Tampoco lo es alzar el puño y gritar “revolución.” Desde la Revolución cubana se viene haciendo. Y los derechos de las mujeres, decidle que en Europa, EEUU y el Reino Unido, ya hace décadas que se han logrado.

Pero…si nos haría falta que fuera a Irán, Arabia Saudí, Pakistán, Rusia y a otros más de estos países a hacer lo mismo que hizo aquí en España. Aquí resulta ridículo y se reconoce que es un parípé politizado, pero en esos otros lugares si vendría bien…
