Los alemanes no quieren comer nuestras fresas de Huelva porque dicen que el agua que le riegan es de Doñana…
Siguen ocurriendo cosas extrañas porque nuestro gobierno sigue protegiendo a criminales que allanan viviendas y moradas (le llaman por el eufemismo de Okupas)…
Y, según el telediario, parece ser que los únicos crímenes ocurridos en España son ‘crímenes machistas’ y eso no lo entiendo…
Pero todo no es malo ni raro, las encuestan demuestran que es muy probable que después del 23 de julio tendremos un gobierno serio, popular y realmente progresista…

and everything we feel has changed, and what was once pure passion is now a distant thought because years ago to touch your hand, to steal a kiss…

The Euro-Ku I developed (or invented) on the 2nd of February 2022 to try to create, with my Western, European mind, the nuances and the strength that lies within the traditional Japanese Haiku. I took this route because I can, in no way, even begin to think like an Oriental. Our life experiences are different as is our culture and our history. Therefore, to honour this poetic form I had to make it fit the Western mindset.
I decided that the three verse structure was ideal because it required using the power of synthesis, but instead of a strict syllabic count, I would make my verses flow and ebb as long as needed. And they must flow into each other concisely and coherently, one building on the other but without ideas or words that just float away.
And the poem must be accompanied by the poet’s own illustration, photograph or painting. However, it must be the property of the poet and unedited.
That is all it takes to write a Euro-Ku. If you are from the American continent (meaning North, Central and South America) you might want to apply these guidelines and create your own Ameri-Ku based upon your history, culture and experience.

No es nada fácil por mucho que digan por ahi. El trabajo del artista es faena y hay que churrárselo bien para poder vindicarse con cada cuadro que uno pinta…
Digital art is something rather new but interesting. I don’t agree with AI as a replacement for actual work (meaning brush in hand, tubes of paint and a canvas) but as a tool I can accept it. It’s kind of similar to a synthesiser to a musician. It does not replace the real guitar, upright bass or piano but it can help out. AI might provide ideas, or it might give the artist an image upon which he should work to make it his own, to make it art… Because ART can only be made by a human being and the reason is that ART is imbued with emotion, something that not even the best AI has and never will. No matter how hard man tries he will never surpass God, the ultimate and only creator.
