Erase de una exposición en la ciudad de Esmirna, allá en Turquía. Fue hace unos años, 2005… Estos cuadros los compraron una pareja muy maja y desde entonces ocupan un puesto muy privilegiado en su colección y en sus corazones… Y los cuadros los recuerdo bien. No son grandes, tamaño mediano, pero me gustó mucho lo que pude hacer con la luz que en ellos nace y a la vez refleja… Así es el arte, uno experimenta, busca, encuentra, improvisa y fija…

Once upon a time, I exhibited in the city of Izmir, in Turkey. It took place a few years ago, in 2005… These paintings were purchased by a very lovely couple and have since held a special place in their collection and in their hearts… I remember those paintings well. They weren’t large, rather medium-sized, but I was pleased with what I was able to do with the light that emanates from them and reflects back… That’s how art is, one experiments, searches, finds, improvises, and captures…

Desde que mi pincel toco pintura por primera vez y la puse sobre una tela blanca decidí que mis colores iban a ser fuertes y atrevidos, hasta escandalosos si es posible, claro sin faltarle ni a la ética ni al buen gusto…

OMNIA CAELUM STUDIOS MIAMI – PRIMERA PARTE/PART ONE

Bueno, Omnia Caelum Studios Miami no abrió hasta el verano del 2003. Ese otoño partí para Turquía, donde me habían invitado a exponer en una famosa galería de Estambul llamada PG Art, donde me fue muy bien. De esa exposición en adelante mi carrera profesional en el arte comenzó a crecer y a extenderse. Regresé a EEUU donde tuve exposiciones en Nueva York y en varias ciudades de la Florida. Después, en 2008, participé, a través de una galería de Miami en Art Basel Miami Beach. Fui artista permanente de «The Gallery,» la pinacoteca de la Universidad de Miami, donde también participé como miembro de la junta directiva. Y así fui desarrollándome como artista y fui desarrollando mi arte pues nunca he dejado de estudiar, buscar y sobre todo currar… He dicho mucho que el arte es la búsqueda, pero también es currar… Omnia Caelum Studios Miami duró hasta 2018 y a partir del 2019 se convirtió en Omnia Caelum Studios Valencia… NO OS PERDAIS LA SEGUNDA PARTE…

Well, Omnia Caelum Studios Miami didn’t open until the summer of 2003. That fall, I travelled to Turkey, where I was invited to exhibit at a famous gallery in Istanbul called PG Art, and it went very well. From that exhibition onwards, my professional career in art began to grow and expand. I returned to the USA where I had exhibitions in New York and several cities in Florida. Then, in 2008, I participated in Art Basel Miami Beach through a Miami gallery. I became a permanent artist at «The Gallery,» the art museum of the University of Miami, where I also served on the board of directors. And so, I continued to develop as an artist, never ceasing to study, search, and, above all, work… I have often said that art is a search, but it’s also hard work… Omnia Caelum Studios Miami lasted until 2018, and starting in 2019, it became Omnia Caelum Studios Valencia… STAY TUNED FOR PART TWO…

My last exhibition in Spain was in Barcelona in 2020, but we all remember what that year was all about, but I cannot complain, it did go very well for me…

But now it is time to exhibit right here in my city of Valencia! We will be opening on the 15th of October at 1900 hours and the exhibition will run from the 16th through the 23rd of October. Everyone is invited to come to the Sala d’Exposicions de Ciutat Vella located at Carrer del Micalet, 1 in the heart of the city of Valencia.

Since I have not exhibited in Spain since 2020, I’ve many new works ready to present, as well as drawings and a series of abstract paintings I have titled «The Colours of the World.» There will also be a space to feature my Euro-kus. I will be talking more about the exhibition and its contents throughout the month, so stay tuned…

Bueno, mi ultima exposición fue en Barcelona en 2020 y lamentablemente estábamos cursando tiempos extraños con aquello de la pandemia…

Pero ahora ha llegado el momento de anunciar mi primera exposición de arte en mi ciudad de Valencia. Estaremos en el Sala d’Exposicions de Ciutat Vella, (Carrer del Micalet, 1), del 16 de octubre al 23. Inauguracion el 15 de octubre a las 19 horas y estáis todos invitados.

Como desde el 2020 no expongo en España, tengo muchos cuadros nuevos que incluiré en la expo, además de dibujos y una sección de cuadros abstractos que se titulan (en conjunto) «Los colores del mundo.» Tambien habrá lugar para introducir mis Euro-kus con sus respectivas ilustraciones. Asi que apuntad esta fecha en vuestros calendarios y espero veros por la Sala d’Exposicions de Ciutat Vella en Valencia…
