Let me show you what I saw and a little of how I experienced this beautiful city in the province of Málaga in Andalucía…

Este cuadro, que no tiene firma y que se le atribuye a Leonardo da Vinci, fue vendido en subasta (Sotheby’s) en 2017 por $450,3 millones. La garantía del comprador, supuestamente un jeque árabe que guarda el cuadro en su mega yate, se vence muy pronto y aun no se sabe quien verdaderamente pintó el cuadro. Los expertos que antes de la subasta certificaron el cuadro y afirmaron que es obra de Leonardo, ahora parece ser que ni se habían enterado de lo que estaban haciendo. Fue una certificación informal todo…

Personalmente no creo que haya sido un cuadro de Leonardo, aunque puede parecerse a algunos de los del pintor florentino. Pero es que también puede parecerse al de muchos pintores de la época. Al fin y al cabo, a Leonardo lo reconocen ahora como un genio, eso dicen, pero en su época no era tal cosa y en su época abundaban pintores capaces de pintar este cuadro y mucho mas.

Pero, que le vamos a hacer. La verdad jamás la vamos a saber… Lo que si sabemos es que es el cuadro mas caro…de los que se han vendido…de la historia. Eso me deja realmente sin cuidado porque no entiendo como alguien pudo haber pagado tantos millones por un cuadro que ni siquiera se sabe, con certeza, quien lo ha pintado…

This painting, which bears no signature and which is attributed to Leonardo da Vinci was sold at auction in Sotheby’s in 2017 for $450,3 million. The warranty of the buyer, supposedly an Arab Sheik who keeps the painting in his luxury mega yacht, is about to expire. And we still do not know who painted it. The experts, conferring prior to the auction, supposedly certified and affirmed that it was a Leonardo, but now it seems like they thought it was an informal meeting, and thus an informal conclusion of attribution…

Personally I do not believe that this painting was painted by Leonardo, although it may resemble some of his other works. But it also looks like it could be the work of many others from his time. After all, Leonardo is now regarded…by some…as a genius, but during his day he was no such thing and he happened to live in an age when there were many other fully capable painters of having painted «Salvator Mundi» and much more.

But what can we do. The truth we will never know… What we do know is that the highest priced painting in the world…of those who have been sold…has its warranty up. Let us see what happens… In truth I care little about the hundreds of millions paid because I just cannot understand how anyone can pay that much money for a painting who no one really knows who painted it…

CAMINAD POR LA BELLEZA QUE NOS RODEA AMIGOS MÍOS

Desde aquel día, cuando escuche la primera canción, me di cuenta que este iba ser mi cantautor preferido… Si, tenia muchos otros… Tales como Joan Manuel Serrat, Silvio Rodriguez y Pablito Milanés, que vamos, son grandes y difíciles de superar y le llevaban ventaja, pero Sabina los supero a todos y corto la distancia entre ellos de un tajo y se colocó en mi primer lugar…

Esta canción, «Sintiéndolo Mucho«, es su penultima y lo digo así porque espero mas de el… Si Paul, Sir Paul McCartney, a sus ochenta años cumplidos, anda por los grandes escenarios cantando y tocando, como lo hizo, siendo el cabeza de cartel del Glastonbury Festival el verano pasado, a Joaquín todavía le queda mucho por hacer…

Nació en Úbeda, Jaen, hace setenta y tres años y es musico, compositor, cantante y poeta. Ademas diria que es alguien que ha inspirado muchas carreras, bien sean en la musica o la literatura. Sus canciones son himnos a la vida. Su poesia es cotidiana, de a pie, que con la sencillez del vernaculo te llegan, te acarician y tambien te aranan y te dejan ensangrentado.

Que mas puedo decir, es, simple y llanamente, lo que llamamos nosotros, un tío de puta madre.

Tambien pinta y dibuja y ha publicado un libro, Garagatos de sus obras y de eso os hablaré pronto…
