Os traigo a Carlos Vives, ¡Un tío de puta madre! Su música me ha encantado desde los años 80 cuando lo escuché por primera vez. Este colombiano de Santa Marta, que nació en 1961, es cantautor, productor y actor y revolucionó e internacionalizó el vallenato, la música autóctona de la region caribeña de Colombia. Carlos ha ganado dos premios Grammy, el primer artista colombiano en lograrlo, y quince Grammy latinos. Aqui en nuestra España, ganó el premio Ondas y en dos oportunidades el Premio Amigo, entregado por el Principado de Asturias.

I bring you Carlos Vives, a really a phenomenal musician! I’ve loved his music since the 80s when I first heard him. This man from Santa Marta, Colombia, born in 1961, is a singer-songwriter, producer, and actor, and he revolutionized and internationalized the vallenato, the indigenous music of the Caribbean region of Colombia. Carlos has won two Grammy Awards, being the first Colombian artist to achieve this, and fifteen Latin Grammys. Here in Spain, he won the Ondas Award and on two occasions the Amigo Award, given by the Principality of Asturias.
