«Call the sun in the dead of the night
And the sun’s gonna rise in the sky«
Got to say, like I have said many times when I recall these songs from so long ago, that from the first time I heard this song I loved it. I remember…
I must have been fourteen years old and living (at the time) in Miami, Florida (US). I called my cousin, who was like my brother, and we took the bus downtown and I bought the 45 rpm and rushed back, played it a million times (honest, I counted) and learned to play the song on my old Decca guitar…
It’s an incredible tune. Neil Diamond called it his favourite…
What do you think?
Love to hear from you…
Cheers!
A walk down memory lane. Thank you, Francisco.

Great song Francisco and I really enjoyed the group. I loved the harmony. I didn’t know it was his favorite. By the way we finally saw “The Seven Prisoners,” per your recommendation. It was a very well done movie. It made me very sad. I think it is educational because you see how people get trapped in the vicious cycle. It was hard to watch at times but everyone should watch it. Thank you for telling us about it. Hugs to you both. Love ❤️ Joni

Yes, it is a hard movie to watch but it really gets into the heart of that type of crime and in my opinion, it recreates what happens when God is taken out of the equation, when the moral compass is destroyed and when the domination of the “fittest” replaces love, respect and civility. Thank you so much Joni. Our love to you both.

You are so right Francisco. Money is a cleaver tool the devil uses to tempt many.
“Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God,” (Matthew 19:24). How one individual could treat another person like that is definitely a lack of moral compass. The movie is excellent. I loved the way it ended too because it created the tendency toward even more thought about slavery. Thank you Francisco. Blessings to you two. ❤️
